THE GATE KEEPERS ATTEMPT TO RETURN

The establishment is keen to demonetise
truth tellers and unfiltered satire.

The internet has been a truly liberating phenomenon for many people, not least the "thought criminals" and "heretics" of the Alt-Right. The freedom of expression that it has fostered has also been hard for the old mainstream media companies, which have struggled to maintain profitability, with some of them having to transform themselves into click bait sites, but extremely tame ones in case they offend their shrinking pool of advertisers.

In addition to the old, dying media, there are others who would dearly love to re-close what they see as the "Pandora's box" of free expression and the market place of ideas that the internet has birthed. These include Western governments, the establishment, the Deep State, and the SPLC, in fact all those who were shaken by Donald Trump's meme-powered march to the White House. But how to do it?

STABBED IN THE FRONT: OPERATION MICHAEL, THE ULTIMATE PYRRHIC VICTORY

Stormtroopers

99 years ago today the most important event of the 20th century took place, the launch of the last great German offensive in World War One. WWII was merely a post-script to what happened on that day.

By early 1918, the Germans were in a tight spot. Although Russia had been knocked out of the War by the Bolshevik Revolution and the agreement of Brest-Litovsk, which had ceded enormous territories, the Germans and their Allies were suffering the effects of the prolonged British naval blockade and deep discontent on the home front, with war weariness and strikes breaking out. Also, they were facing the prospect of millions of fresh American troops arriving in the months ahead.

BOOK REVIEW: "THE TRAIL OF THE VIKING FINGER"

The Trail of the Viking Finger
John Bean, Troubador Publishing
228 Pages

Reviewed by Colin Liddell

I was amazed when John Bean, the veteran British nationalist, came out with an excellent novel a couple of years ago at the grand old age of 87. This even put Grandma Moses in the shade for late starts, and was a sign of hope to all those of us who continually defer our dreams. I was even more amazed that the novel, Blood in the Square, based on Bean’s own experiences in British nationalism in the 1960s, read so well.

Rather than a novice, Bean was clearly an accomplished fiction writer and had little to learn. I remember entertaining the hope that there would be a few follow ups — and now, at an even grander age, there is! But rather than retread the familiar subject matter from the first novel — the multifaceted world of British nationalism — Bean has had a rush of ambition and attempted something not only radically new but also sweeping in its scope.

This is the historical novel, The Trail of the Viking Finger, which stands as a testament to the indigenous British people and stretches across ten centuries, from the immediate aftermath of the battles of Stamford Bridge and Hastings in 1066, and the dawning of the Norman epoch, to the early twentieth century, where the novel seems to end a little abruptly.

FILM REVIEW: DARK CITY (THE DIRECTOR'S CUT): "SHUT IT DOWN!"

The Strangers

by Dave Yorkshire
Spoiler alert: Do not read this review before watching the film, even though I have tried to keep the biggest plot twist out of the review.
For the past twenty years, there have been very few great films. What do I mean by great film? I mean any film that has that ability to transport its audience seamlessly into the internal logic of its secondary world of hyperreality, while simultaneously demanding of its audience fundamental questions about existence. In this, it will blend drama with philosophy, scenery with art, dialogue with music. This requires a great scriptwriter, great actors, a great crew and a great director to bring them all together. Metropolis has it; Gone with the Wind has it; Night of the Hunter has it; The Good, the Bad and the Ugly has it; so too does the 1998 Alex Proyas film Dark City. Why then have so few people heard of Dark City?

PSY-WAR ON THE BOERS: A HATE-BLAST FROM THE PAST

In the context of present-day post-Apartheid, ANC-ruled South Africa, where life for the white minority is increasingly marred by the reality of near genocide-level violence and even the president enthusiastically dances and lustily sings of "killing the Boer," it is instructive to view this baleful turn of events in proper historical context.

AN ACADEMIC BOOK RECOMMENDS WAR IN EUROPE

Peter Turchin’s, Ultrasociety: How 10,000 Years of War Made Humans the Greatest Cooperators on Earth, necessarily implies that the West needs a popular war within or near its borders. He reluctantly confesses, “A reactionary catchphrase of the 1970s used to go, “what this generation needs is a war,” a deplorable sentiment but one that in terms of cultural evolution might sometimes have a germ of cold logic.”[i]

DUTCH ELECTION ROUND UP: GEERT GAINS, CUCKSERVATIVES WIN, BIG LEFT SHRIVELS AND DIES

Snubbed by voters?

by Alt-Right News

The Dutch election results are still coming in and the final tally won't be confirmed for several days, but already exit polls are painting a picture of what happened.

The anti-Islamic Freedom Party, the only party worth supporting in this election, made some gains, going up from 15 seats to a projected 19 seats. This is a disappointing result as the Freedom Party was riding high in opinion polls one week before the election, and was then projected to get 30 seats.

The main cuckservative party, the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy of Prime Minister Mark Rutte is projected to get 31 seats, a loss of 10 seats, but the biggest loser of the night is the Labour Party, traditionally the main Leftist party, which collapsed.

NAMELESS PODCAST: SUCKERS FOR RATIONAL REDHEADS

Jennifer Lokken, aka "The Rational Redhead"
In his latest "Nameless" Podcast, Andy Nowicki discusses a recent incident at Jenifer Lokken's anti-feminist "The Rational Redhead" Facebook page, in which one male reader, when invited to join the page, refused, declaring that "The Rational Redhead" must be a CIA honeytrap to collect intel on Alt-Righters, because Mrs. Lokken is just too pretty to be for real.

"You men need to check your hormones and quit being suckered," he wrote. "If you insist on staying in the group, be careful what you say, for it will be used against you."

THE DEATH OF "RACISM"

From the Financial Times, an intriguing article entitled “White self-interest is not the same thing as racism: Accepting that all groups have legitimate interests fosters mutual understanding”:
"Modern liberals tend to believe that preference for your own ethnic group or even your own nation is a form of racism. Conservatives regard it as common sense and resent being labelled as racist…The question of legitimate ethnic interest is complex. Multiculturalism is premised on the rights of minorities to maintain certain traditions and ways of life. But liberals have usually been reluctant to extend such group rights to majorities…As Eric Kaufmann argues in a new Policy Exchange paper, accepting that all groups, including whites, have legitimate cultural interests is the first step toward mutual understanding."
The barrier wall, constructed of the illusion that racism is the ultimate evil, that any majority self-interest is racism, and that nationalism is unacceptable, has now permanently fractured. The concept of “racism” has died, just as the notion that diversity can work has disintegrated. There is no longer any faith in these ideological concepts.

COLIN LIDDELL ON "THE FASCIST PIGS PODCAST"

The Fascist Pigs XIV "AltRight Kulturkampf & Manlet Nationalism" with Colin Liddell & Bryan Sawyer

INTRO TO THE ALT-RIGHT (5): BRETT STEVENS

The intention of this series is to provide the reader with thumbnail introductions to a variety of alt right personalities and their ideas. The three main questions—which are straightforward and aimed at revealing the core—will be the same for each interview. (The lightning-round questions will vary somewhat.)

The subject of this interview is Brett Stevens. Stevens’s writing—common themes include his preference for hierarchy and nationalism, and his opposition to unrestrained materialism—has appeared in numerous alt right publications (including this website). He is the editor of Amerika.org, and the author of Nihilism.

PROGS AND DOOLITTLES

An uniquely insightful slab of meat

I must confess to a certain unedifying, if only occasional, habit: poring over the stories of people who got themselves hurt or killed through breathtaking displays of stupidity. Such online rubber-necking is popularly catered for by the Darwin Awards website; but I tend to find more cause for morbid fascination in the antics of a class of people who might be termed 'Doolittles'.

The Doolittle, as the name suggests, is a person who thinks that he or she can make friends with dangerous wild animals. A common pattern is for the Doolittle to experience a long run of luck with this unwise show of affection, which gives rise to an inner conviction of his or her "special connection" with the predatory species of choice, before the fantasy is dispelled in a few violent moments and with a great deal of blood. Unfortunately, what might be a case of individual natural deselection often results in the death or injury of sane bystanders, for Doolittles are hardly shy about dragging other people into their lunacy.

GAVIN McINNES GOES "FULL 1488" AFTER "BRAINWASHING" TRIP TO ISRAEL

McInnes referred to 10 million Ukrainians killed
in the Holodomor by "Commie, Socialist Jews."

Strange times at The Rebel, the Alt-Lite/Cuckservative site owned by prominent Canadian Zionist and Jew, Ezra Levant. Just a few days ago, one of their big stars Lauren Southern decided to walk and fly solo, and now their other big star Gavin McInnes has apparently gone way off script after a trip to Israel, declaring himself as "feeling anti-Semitic."

The revelations come from a video McInnes posted on his own personal pay-to-view channel and since leaked to the free web (see below). In the video McInnes claims that the trip to Israel, that was supposedly funded by donations to The Rebel, was in fact funded by the Israeli government.

HATE WINS!

Get used to it. Hate is on the rise. It is now endemic and ever present, like the very air we breathe. This is what the last Presidential election proved, and all subsequent elections will only hammer that nail in further until the plank it is embedded in splinters into a thousand shards of wood.

This new ever-present hatred is continually showing up in opinion polls, like the latest one from Suffolk University, Boston, where everyone and everything is more disliked than liked.

GERMANS ACHIEVE NEW BREAKTHROUGH IN DIAGNOSING MENTAL ILLNESS

The scientific and psychiatric worlds were aghast and amazed yesterday by a new German breakthrough which allows even unqualified operatives, like police officers and journalists, to instantaneously diagnose mental illness in seconds.

The breakthrough came at a Dusseldorf train station, where a man of Muslim background was instantly diagnosed as "mentally ill" after going on a rampage with an axe and seriously injuring seven people. His race and religion were of absolutely no importance.

YouTube vlogger State of the Nation gives his usual, highly informed analysis of the French Presidential election, where, it seems, almost all the main candidates are embroiled in some sort of scandal.

PODCAST 52: COLD PIZZA PLANET OF THE OSCARS

Alternative Right contributor and film director Richard Wolstencroft joins Andy Nowicki and Colin Liddell to discuss the latest Oscars and look back at the classic era of 1970s cinema, including the original "Planet of the Apes" series.

ORANIA UPDATE

Oranians rockin' their traditional Afrikaner garb.

(Sebastiaan Biehl is a German-born man who moved to South Africa and settled in the Afriakner mini-ethnostate of Orania in 2004. Read more about his story here.)

Living in Orania, the Afrikaner ethnic hometown

After 12 years in Orania, life seems quite normal and natural and indeed it should be. I guess it is not so different from life in a rural American town. On a typical day, we go to work (most of us work in the city limits of Orania), which takes us about 5 to 10 minutes, by car, on foot, by bicycle or with the local bus. Everybody speaks Afrikaans everywhere. After work, we do our shopping in small shops all over town, where everybody greets everybody and often chats a few words; we visit our neighbours or friends after work, go to the cinema or the restaurant, have a barbecue on Saturday, go to church on Sundays. Children play outside after school, up to dawn, go to the swimming-pool, ride their bicycles, play sport and games.

NAMELESS PODCAST: THE PEDOPHILIA 'SOFT SELL'

In his latest "Nameless" Podcast, Andy Nowicki tells how he became convinced that our cultural commissars are now engaged in a low-key, low-frequency, subtle 'soft sell' to de-stigmatize pedophiliac and pederastic sexual practices.

TRUMP'S VISION EMERGES

Trump rehearsing for his speech to Congress.

by Colin Liddell

Hitler's intentions were very clear to anyone who bothered to read Mein Kampf, and the same can be said about Donald Trump and his speeches. The speech he gave a week or so ago to a joint session of Congress was the most high profile and important speech he has given yet, and comes after five weeks of frenetic activity by his administration. It is therefore well worth examining for clues as to what Trump's vision and intentions are.

The clarity of the vision was partly obscured by some distracting PC touches. But, taken in context, with other statements by the President, a fairly coherent picture emerges of what Trump thinks it is possible for him to achieve.

TV SHOWS REACH "PEAK GAY" AS VIEWERS TURN OFF

Gays hold candle-lit vigil for their dead show.

Big media has steadily been pushing the gay agenda for decades, something the public have reluctantly put up with, because it has been in relatively small doses. But now it looks like the TV companies have gone too far, after they rolled out a number of big budget, gay-themed TV shows that flopped disastrously with viewers.

ABC's "When We Rise," an eight-hour drama miniseries depicting the "struggles" of LGBT activists in the "bad old days" when people actually had moral standards, was blatant in its characterization of gay activists as heroic idealists and the public as low-browed homophobes.

TOP TEN THINGS AMERICAN LIBERALS USED TO SAY, BUT DON'T SAY ANYMORE

The face of American liberal tolerance

10) "I would never vote for a warmonger. For the sake of future generations, we must seek peace instead of provoking conflict."

9) "All of this anti-Russia hysteria-- this looking for dangerous subversives under every bed-- is silly and embarrassing. Really, it's nothing more than a politically-motivated witch hunt. Knock it off, already!"

SPENCER PIVOTS "WEST" ON MILO

Spencer-Milo bromance back on?

Like any true leader, Richard Spencer is known for his mercurial shifts in direction that are aimed at throwing his many slow-footed foes and dim-witted opponents off balance.

So it was no surprise to me when the public leader of our movement suddenly pivoted hard on the "Milo Question" and issued an article in his own name (Milo and his Enemies) that reversed his previous hard position on "Milexit" (shorthand for Milo's exit from the wider Alt-Right).

"SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL'S DYING!"

Love can die. Sometimes it dies hard, and with a vengeance. What happens to it afterwards? Does it proceed to its final judgment, then pass on to some eternal realm, be it Heaven or Hell? Or does it limp along in some pallid, spectral form like Caesar's ghost, oppressively ever-present even when it has seemingly vanished?

What of cases where love's collapse is expressly and tragically unilateral, expressly violating the consent of the formerly-loved? As Rick Springfield semi-famously observed, "Love hurts when only one's in love." Or as the J. Geils Band more succinctly put it, "Love stinks."
